Northeast Ohio business briefs: DisTech Inc. moves truck terminal to Cleveland

DistTech Inc., a trucking company that specializes in liquid bulk commodities, has moved its Northeast Ohio trucking terminal from Newbury Township to 3283 Rockefeller Ave. near Broadway Avenue on Cleveland's East Side. The company's headquarters remains in Newbury Township.

Chief Operating Officer John Rakoczy said in a written statement that longer term, the company anticipates adding more jobs at the Cleveland terminal. DistTech operates 450 trucks nationwide and employs about 500, including 35 to 40 at its headquarters and 30 at the terminal.
