Safety is an integral part of everything we do. DistTech has been consistently recognized by the National Tank Truck Carriers (NTTC) for operating one of the country's safest fleets, and we've improved our safety record for 14 consecutive years. In fact, we've received the NTTC's prestigious Outstanding Performance Trophy -- presented to the carrier with the best comprehensive safety program in the tank truck industry -- five times.

Our commitment to safety is exhibited out on the roads each day by our drivers -- 71 of whom have one million miles or more of accident-free miles to their credit. DistTech drivers are also frequently recognized by state trucking associations for their outstanding safety performances.

DistTech has invested in technology that helps ensure our drivers return home safely every day, including driver fatigue monitors that detect drowsiness, in-cab video systems that alert drivers to vehicles traveling in their "blind spots" and collision warning systems. A growing number of our tractors also have automatic transmissions, making it easier for our drivers to operate in congested areas -- and increasing their comfort.
